House 43 is a children's book I have illustrated based on the theme of gender expression. I used vibrant and lively illustrations featuring colourful houses, characters, and crowds to bring the story to life for readers aged 3-8.
I rebranded a local vegan food stall in Leeds creating fun, bright and engaging food menu's for them as well as refreshing and modernising their original logo.
I have been reached out to to help design some posters in the Leeds music / entertainment scene for bands such as Soup Of Truth, and events such as Molldog’s Cabaret. These projects have been really enjoyable for me as I am able to be as illustrative as I want, and it’s been a really good experience to discuss design plans with members of each society and create them a piece of work they are happy with and feel connects to the theme of what they’re doing.
This is a recent project created mostly on photoshop, using physical attributes such as POSCA pens and scans I’ve taken from the worlf around me with my portable scanner. This was one of my favourite projects so far as there was so many different elements to get into. While on this project, I also designed 3 different typefaces out of different foods.
Inspired by the work of Warhol and Basqiat I created this A3 poster of my own take from their collaborative work. I used vibrant colours and confident strokes throughout this project and it taught me how to creatively improvise and be more forgiving with my work.
I created a varied selection of prints and stickers for a University print fair. Lino prints based off the work from an illustrated children's book called 'A Long Piece of String' by William Wondriska The focus of my stickers were characters featured in my self initiaded Warhol x Basquiat work.
Tying in with my frame by frame animation project, I also took a stab at some stop motion animation. This was an incredily long process, but also incredibly rewarding when done right. It definitely took me a few goes to get used to the mechanisms and patience needed to create a piece of work, but once I did the project was really good fun.
